Account abstraction should be infrastructure, not a feature

Ask anyone who has onboarded a non-crypto-native user to a wallet, and you'll hear the same story: the seed phrase is where they lose people. We took the hardest part of operating a bank — key custody — and handed it to consumers with a twelve-word note and a warning.

Why we built Kryard as a layer

Account abstraction is too important to be a feature each app reimplements. By making smart accounts, MPC signing, and policy controls an infrastructure layer, every product in the ecosystem inherits them. The wallet team doesn't rebuild recovery; they call it.

Self-custody without the cliff

MPC threshold signing means there is no single secret to lose. Social and policy recovery means a lost device isn't a lost fortune. Users keep genuine ownership — the keys are theirs — but the failure modes that scared everyone away are designed out at the protocol's edge.
